Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Sentenced to Death Penalty
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was found guilty on all 30 counts in the bombing at the Boston Marathon, has been sentenced to the death penalty by lethal injection.
The bombing killed three people, injured over 200, and resulted in a manhunt that lasted several days and ended in the death of Dzhokhar‘s older brother Tamerlan, who was also responsible for the terrorist attack.
The jury deliberated for more than 14 hours over three days to reach the decision over sentencing him to either life in prison or the death penalty. When the decision was read, Dzhokhar reportedly had no visible reaction to the news.
