Celebrities Tweet Ahead of David Letterman's Final Show

David Letterman will make his final appearance behind the desk of The Late Show With David Letterman tonight (May 20) in New York City.

The 68-year-old late-night host and comedian hosted the program for 22 years and has won nine Emmy Awards since its debut.

Before that, he hosted Late Night with David Letterman for more than 11 years on NBC.

Celebrities took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Dave‘s retirement. Check out some of their goodbyes below.

    I can not wait for this to be over. So that they will stop posting articles about this. For the most part over the past 20 years or so. Hardly anyone talked about him, except when he was sleeping with interns. Not sure what all the fuss is about. He could not even beat the more horrible leno.
