'San Andreas' Tops Weekend Box Office With Massive Debut!

San Andreas made a whopping $53.2 million at the box office this weekend, taking the No. 1 spot!

According to THR, the action-pack flick starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Alexandra Daddario, impressed overseas too with $60 million for a total global gross of $113.2 million.

Taking the second spot was Pitch Perfect 2, starring Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld, and more, which made an additional $14.8 million for a domestic total of $147.5 million.

Coming in at No. 3 was Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney and Britt Robertson, which earned $13.8 million, for a total so far of $63.2 million.

Rounding out the top five were Mad Max: Fury Road and Avengers: Age of Ultron, which grossed $13.6 million and $10.9 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, the star-studded romantic dramedy Aloha, starring Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, and Rachel McAdams, debuted to $10 million for sixth place.
