Drake Bell Apologizes for Offensive Caitlyn Jenner Tweet
Drake Bell has apologized for his offensive tweets about Caitlyn Jenner‘s transition.
When the 65-year-old former Olympian made her official debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair, saying “Call Me Caitlyn,” the young actor tweeted that he would still call her Bruce.
“I sincerely apologize for my thoughtless insensitive remarks. I in no way meant to hurt or demean those going through a similar journey,” Drake said in his apology. “Although my comments were made in innocence, I deeply regret the negative effect they’ve had on so many.”
