YouTuber Ingrid Nilsen AKA missglamorazzi Comes Out as Gay

Ingrid Nilsen, who is known by “missglamorazzi,” made a huge announcement on her YouTube channel on Tuesday (June 9) – she revealed to the world that she’s gay.

“There’s something I want you to know…and that something is, I’m gay,” the 26-year-old beauty vlogger tearfully told her 3 million subscribers earlier today.

“It feels so good to say that…This is not something I chose, it is something that is a part of me,” she added.

In the 20-minute video, Ingrid gives viewers a candid insight to her journey, explaining that this is “something that I’ve always known from my earliest memories” but she grew up in an environment where “homosexuality was not universally accepted.”

We applaud Ingrid for her bravery to share such a personal story. Check out her full coming out video below…

gay or not…. who cares. We live in a world of narcissists where everyone thinks their lives are so interesting, and that they should have this big announcement, and everyone should care. Social media is ruining the world. People think others care so much about their boring lives.

  • Benny Ehud

Who cares? This is why you can’t compare this to being black or racism. You don’t have to announce that you are black.

  • Roman

WHO?! This is getting ridiculous. Just be gay and stop using “coming
out” as a way to promote your so-called “brand”. The real story here is that she is trying to be rich and famous and is hoping this video makes more people aware of who she is!

  • devvv

Are we really reporting on youtubers now? Like seriously? We have enough “celebrities” who don’t deserve their stardom, let’s not start adding random people who talk to cameras to the rotation.

This is amazing and inspiring. We love you Ingrid!

  • Jay

Why are you comparing them, it’s not a competition. That’s not how it works.

  • Jay

She is sharing it with people who want to know.

  • teffi

a 20 minute overly dramatic video.. Cmon, this girl thinks that she should have her own reality show. You know she probably took like twenty takes trying to get the right amount of “pay attention to me” and “I’m so brave” tears.

  • ShoshannaGold

Who is this stupid person and who cares??

  • Shivani Yadav

    I’m so proud of her!

  • Benny Ehud

I am not the one comparing them. Gays do.

  • arwa

I think in 2 years everyone in Youtube will come out as gay. Maybe they think it’s a tag.

  • Michael Dante

You said it perfectly….. its all about people now with a big time narcissistic attitude. I don’t agree with homosexual acts faith wise but also as someone who was molested by one however I am respectful while not condone nor buddies. But forcing people like me to accept a way of life that I have history with or tellme that I’m the one being phobic is like asking someone which was raped to be friends and accept neighbors on the sex list. Makes no difference if that person did that to them or not there are reasons and saying otherwise is both apathetic and illogical.

  • Michael Dante

But here’s the thing… being black will always be more courageous since unless a gay opens his or her mouth they are just another white person, accepted anywhere. They have to go out of their way to cause division. I cannot even walk in some places without getting stares or jokes although I’m the most caring and probably far more intelligent than all in that room. I take being a gay white male for a day just not to deal with a**holes and “fit in” while they want to compare their plight to mines???

  • Jay

Dramatic to you. It was a big step for her, it is a big step for anyone. You just seem to resent that so many people care.

  • Benny Ehud

    it’s MINE not MINES.

  • Michael Dante

Here we go… there’s always one grammar police that has a narcissistic nature. They MUST look past the entire message to absolutely point out grammar because they think it makes them seem smarter. Its OK… you just go ahead since obviously your life has nothing else going for it and too be honest not going to keep checking a post I lost interest in. Man… your parents did a job on you.

  • Benny Ehud

I am helping you out with your life. You said that you are probably the smartest person in the room. I was correcting an often misuse of a word. I wasn’t trying to belittle you.

However, grammar isn’t that hard. And it is not TOO in the sentence. It should have been TO.

To be honest, I never cared about your opinion the first time you responded to me. So, I don’t care if you check it or not LOL
