Dusty Rhodes Dead - WWE Legend Dies at 69

Dusty Rhodes, whose real name was Virgil Runnels, has passed away at the age of 69.

The WWE legend went by the name “The American Dream” in the wrestling world and he was a three-time NWA champion in addition to being a WWE Hall of Famer.

Dusty, who died on Thursday morning (June 11), is survived by his four children, two of whom also became wrestlers.

“WWE extends its sincerest condolences to Runnels‘ family, friends and colleagues,” the wrestling organization said in a statement. We send out our condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time as well.
