Sir Christopher Lee Dead - 'Dracula' Actor Dies at 93

Sir Christopher Lee, the iconic actor who first rose to fame as the title character in the 1958 Hammer Horror Dracula, has died at 93.

The actor was married to model Birgit Kroencke for a little over fifty years and he is survived by their daughter, Christina.

Christoper died on Sunday (June 7) at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London after suffering heart and respiratory problems, The Telegraph confirms.

He has also made memorable appearances as Saruman in the Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit movies, as well as Count Dooku in two Star Wars films.

    R.I.P Christopher Lee, a true acting legend. We have also lost Ron Moody(most known for playing Fagin in 1968 Oliver! film) as well, he passed away earlier today so may he Rest in Peace too.

    Loved him and his movies since my teenage days. A very special person to my boyfriend/husband and I. He stayed active in his later years, thank goodness, being in Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

    One of the most intimidating forces on screen ever From the old Hammer horror films,as Dracula The Star Wars films as Count Dooku and The Lord of the Rings trilogy as Saruman.For him to work almost up to the time of his passing showed that he truly loved acting.He will be greatly missed
