Will Damian Lewis Succeed Daniel Craig as James Bond?
Damian Lewis is reportedly one of the favorites to succeed Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond, at least according to UK bookies.
It has been reported that the 44-year-old Homeland actor’s price has been dropped way down from outsider odds of 25/1 to being a near-favorite with odds of 3/1.
Other actors that have great odds right now are Idris Elba with 5/2, Tom Hardy with 4/1, Henry Cavill with 5/1, and Michael Fassbender with 7/1.
“This is an unprecedented gamble, as for no apparent reason we have seen bets of up to £200 [$312] on Damian Lewis being named as the next Bond. This could well be significant and might herald the end of Daniel Craig as the world’s most famous spy,” a William Hill spokesperson told THR.
