Celebrities everywhere are showing their excitement for the Supreme Court’s decision that same-sex marriage bans are unconstitutional.
Stars like Matt Bomer and Ellen DeGeneres, both of whom are in same-sex marriages, tweeted to their fans after the historic decision was announced on Friday morning (June 26).
The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision and the majority decision was written by Justice Kennedy.
Until now, 37 states recognized same-sex marriage, but now the marriages will be recognized nationwide!
