Avril Lavigne shows off her big smile while posing next to husband Chad Kroeger in a new selfie posted to Instagram on Monday (June 29).

“Driving around after a big morning with my GMA interview. Cried on national television this am. So embarrassing. Lol. Thankful to God that I am recovering, finally getting on with my life and ready to help other people,” the 30-year-old singer captioned another photo taken in the car.

Avril appeared on Good Morning America that morning in a pre-taped interview to open up about her battle with Lyme disease.
