Jack Carter Dead - Comedian Dies at 93

Jack Carter has passed away at the age of 93, according to Variety.

The comedian’s death was a result of respiratory failure.

Jack, who died at his home in Beverly Hills on Sunday (June 28), is survived by his wife Roxanne, sons Michael and Chase Carter, daughter Wendy, and grandchildren Jake and Ava.

Jack was known for hosting Cavalcade of Stars, The Jack Carter Show, and the first televised Tony Awards in 1956.

In addition, Jack also did some Broadway and appeared in Call Me Mister, Mr. Wonderful, and Top Banana.
