Netflix Announces Release Dates for First Original Films
Netflix has just announced the release dates for their first slate of feature films coming to the streaming service.
The first four films on the streaming service will be Idris Elba‘s Beasts of No Nation, Adam Sandler‚Äės The Ridiculous Six, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, and Paul Reubens and Judd Apatow‘s Pee-wee‚Äôs Big Holiday.
- Beasts of No Nation, from Cary Fukunaga, will premiere on the site on October 16. It will also be released in select theaters.
- The Ridiculous Six will premiere on December 11.
- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend will debut in early 2016, and will be released in China.
- Pee-wee‚Äôs Big Holiday will premiere in March 2016.

About Beasts of No Nation:
Beasts of No Nation is based on the highly acclaimed novel by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala, bringing to life the gripping tale of Agu, a child soldier torn from his family to fight in the civil war of an African country. Newcomer Abraham Attah gives a stunning portrayal of Agu, while Elba dominates the screen in the role of Commandant, a warlord who takes in Agu and instructs him in the ways of war.
