Magnum P.I.'s Tom Selleck Accused of Stealing Water During California's Drought

Tom Selleck, well known for his role on Magnum P.I. and his recurring guest stint on Friends, is being sued by the Calleguas Municipal Water District for allegedly using a public fire hydrant to fill a water tank to bring to his ranch in Westlake Village, Calif.

The complaint says that the 70-year-old actor is barred from using the hydrant because his property is located within the Hidden Valley Municipal Water District, E! News reports. The actor apparently filled a water tank on 12 different occasions.

Tom and his wife, Jillie Mack, who is also listed in the suit, were reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter by the Calleguas Municipal Water District in 2013.

California is undergoing a huge drought at the moment, and Tom is under fire for using large amounts of water.
