One Direction Launch 'Action/1D' to Help Better the Future
Niall Horan navigates through a crowd of fans after he arrives at LAX airport on Tuesday (July 7) in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old singer and his band One Direction are hoping to make a difference in the world and have launched the Action/1D campaign.
Action/1D will give young people across the world the chance to add their voices to global conversations about the future of people and the planet in order to achieve the best possible development and climate frameworks ahead of upcoming global summits on people and the planet.
The group is asking their millions of fans to band together to share what kind of world they want to live in through creative content like videos and photos using the #action1D hashtag on their social media channels.
“Time and again our fans have shown how creative and powerful they can be when they unite and that’s why we want to all join together to speak out and hopefully make a real and lasting change to the world around us,” the band said.
