Cobie Smulders Reportedly Breaks Her Leg, Drops Out of HBO's Anita Hill Film

HBO’s upcoming Anita Hill film Confirmation may be losing one of its stars.

JustJared.com can confirm that Cobie Smulders‘ role is being recast due to a broken leg.

She was set to star in the TV movie alongside Kerry Washington, but can no longer play the role due to the injury. Filming was to begin this week.

“She said her leg started hurting so she had it checked out,” a source told the mag. “And that she must’ve done something to it without realizing sometime earlier.”

Confirmation follows the story of Anita Hill, the lawyer who sued Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas for sexual harassment back in 1991.

Us Weekly was first to report the news.
