Brandy Sings On the Subway, Gets Ignored By Everyone

Brandy decided to sing her heart out on the New York City subway, but unfortunately no one seemed to care that she was performing for them.

“Recently I rode the subway and sung my lil’ heart out…you’ll be surprised at how it turned out,” the 36-year-old singer tweeted with a link to the YouTube video.

After hopping on the train, Brandy started singing the song “Home” from the Broadway musical The Wiz to her friend holding the camera.

In defense of the subway riders not listening, it was definitely hard to know who was singing as Brandy wore a hoodie and sunglasses. She sounded great though!

Brandy has a big ego if she thinks those riders would have card even if they knew her name.

I thought New Yorkers didn’t care about anything and just move on with their day?

All I thought watching the video was being there to tell her to get over herself. In the 90s I thought she was overrated, she had some good songs but her voice is nothing special at all. I hear people that sound better than her all the time who are not famous.

I’m from NY and we are used to people getting on the train singing, preaching, sleeping, exposing, drinking, panhandling, stinking, etc. we are immune that’s why no one paid her no mind.
