Vance Joy Drops Haunting New 'Fire and the Flood' Music Video
Vance Joy takes a walk down memory lane in his “Fire and the Flood” music video.
The song is set to appear on the 27-year-old Aussie singer’s special edition of his 2014 breakthrough album Dream Your Life Away.
“I had a recurring image in my head of a guy walking in the neighborhood where his ex-girlfriend lives,” Vance said in a statement about the inspiration behind the video. “He is haunting the places they used to go together. He has time on his hands and feels kind of useless. He thinks that when they are back together he’ll be at peace again.”
Vance recently got nominated for an MTV Artist To Watch Award, and he’s currently an opening act on Taylor Swift‘s 1989 World Tour.
