Dentist Walter Palmer Contacts U.S Authorities Over Cecil the Lion Investigation

Dr. Walter Palmer, the American dentist accused of killing the beloved Cecil the Lion, has reportedly contacted U.S. authorities to cooperate with the investigation into the lion’s death.

A rep for the dentist reached out to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service after days of being in hiding, according to TMZ.

Not only have the Fish and Wildlife Service been looking into the case, the U.S. Department of Justice is also part of the investigation into Cecil‘s death.

Officials in Zimbabwe want to extradite Palmer to face criminal charges in their country.

    This is so out of hand. Citizens of many Asian countries kill endangered species (if those lions are endangered) everyday and no one creates websites and goes bonkers. An American does, with a pro guide, and it is a Federal crime.
