Woo Hoo! Love it. Great day! Now I’m dancing the Cabbage Patch! Go, JPs. Go JPs. It’s your birthday. It’s your birthday. *Cat is joining in*

  • Truth Be Told

Jolie & Pitt both were good in dramatic movies from the very beginning.
Wonder Why They hardly get into these sort of roles. This looks interesting.

  • Felinelilly

I love it. This is my kind of movie. I can’t wait.

  • busted

Well this is great.. now we get the trailer talk. sad because we had some great comment..

  • VanityInsecurity

    Yes!!! I want more!!!

  • Lily

Brad and Angie should do every movie together. Together they create great movies.

  • toastie postie

I agree. Awesome poster with the 2 hats! They are touching, with Brad’s slightly overlapping. Sigh. :0)

  • busted

This looks and feels so ADULT.. grown up. NOT like we see in most films. It feels like a movie for a grown person to see. Nothing childish or toned back.. that music is so perfect for the trailer.. the editing and the way it just moves the trailer along.. then POW it hits you with the intensity..

    well done.. well done indeed.

  • wika

So since the poster and teaser already indicated Angelina Jolie PITT everyone should pick up the pace shouldn’t they? LOL!

Bringing over BTS official twitter account and site:

  • AeeJay

Let’s Go Angie!!! Show them how its done baby!

  • wika

I’m glad I’m of age to watch this…seriously. LOL

  • lilya

Grown folks movie. Great trailer. Keeps you wanting more.

  • Lady Valeria

I’m mesmerised by that shot of Brad in the tub, writing. I did that for YEARS….would bring my notebook in with me.

And I love the shot at 55/56…where Angelina’s sneak-looking at something/someone. I wonder who she’s spying on, lol. But she definitely looks like she’s going to be “the crazy one” of this film.

  • cee

Amazing! Can not wait for this movie. Love them together. They are sooooo sexy.

  • changeling

It is rated R. Rated “R” stands for Restricted. which means anyone under 17 has to be accompanied by a parent or guardian

  • Lady Valeria

Love love love the poster. Love the two hats…it’s so simple, so cute. And no one looks at that, and doesn’t think COUPLE.

  • Beck

So confirmation about the r rating. I’m glad, means they won’t hold back. Reaction I’ve seen has been really positive overall!

  • changeling

Simple and yet metaphoric. The hats obviously symbolize Brad and Angie and go deeper into their character, the tragedy that befell them and how it was resolved at the end.

I’ve actually heard “By the Sea” is pretty darn good. Kind of looking forward to it. Here’s the trailer:

  • wika

Yeah the reactions are really good!!

  • Danae

Can’t wait!! This looks like a great movie. A truly mature and sophisticated piece of art.
And the cinematography – Christian Berger cannot dissapoint.

  • lilya

  • wika

Ikr. LOL. Idgaf about these hypocrites.

  • Lady Valeria

    Lol, what’d he say before?

  • toastie postie

Now, Lily, don’t get my hopes up.

  • lilya

I’m so glad about the R. Go all the way. No need to baby it, it’s a grown folks movie.

  • wika

Iirc he’s one of those who attacked unbroken in favor of ticky Oscar 2014. LOL

  • Lily

then why is R? definitely some nudity. lol

  • wika

Not necessarily no… and yeah like toastie said- don’t keep our hopes up high LOL

  • toastie postie

Ah! A cretin then. What a hypocrite for sure! :0(

  • wika

Could be nudity for other characters

  • Claire

    Hypocrite for sure.

  • Beck

He was one of the first people to say he had heard bad things about Unbroken, if I remember correctly

  • toastie postie

I’m teasing. Hoping it’s theirs and not the other couple.

  • Beck

The teaser goes by too fast!! I keep feeling like I want to pause on every shot.
By the way, when should we expect people scans?

  • mina

    Maybe violence
    it’s over 12 at BBFC

  • Lady Valeria

THe edition is coming out tomorrow……their site said they’d have more pics of the movie in the actual magazine…..

  • wika

Apparently there isn’t any new photos- just the ones from Cambodia/Myanmar.. so we can relax about the peeps scan LOL!

  • wika

    Good point!

  • Beck

But I still want to read the full article, even if there’s no new pics

  • changeling

I just got a copy of People. It has a 3-page spread, 2-1/2 page on By the Sea with all the photos that was on People Online and half page on Angie and Maddox on Cambodia movie. It was a pretty good article tho’.

    The header reads:
    Brad and Angelina’s Movie Romance
10 years after Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the stars reunite onscreen in the ’70′s drama By The Sea. Angelina shares special behind-the-scenes photos – and opens up about directing Brad.

    Directing Her Costar
“It was difficult to be both inside and outside of the scene, to be able to hep give direction.” Jolie Pitt says of working with her husband.

    Retro Chic
With fashions to match,” it takes place in the 1970′s a rich and turbulent times for both art and politics.” says Jolie Pitt.

    New Territory
“This is a very different film for me.” says Jolie Pitt, who directed the World War II drama Unbroken before making By the Sea in Malta. “I wanted to stay creative and bold and open and allow myself the freedom to be an artist.”

    Balancing Act
“My character is not sure of her own mind.” says Jolie Pitt. “To switch from the person who guides the set to a vulnerable person was hard. Often I missed my performance on the first take.”

    Angelina’s Ambition
Her biggest challenge was “being able to get help when I was trying to work as actor, director and writer at the same time.”

“I understand and appreciate his work ethic even more.” — Angelina on Directing Brad.

What’s Next for Angelina — and Maddox
Jolie Pitt’s next movie will be about a country halfway around the word — but very close to her heart.

  • wika

Okay now that the trailer’s out I hope we can stay off the hypocrites from the awards circle…seriously…idgaf if they praise BTS now. Sure, after making yourself look like a fool with ticky oscar 2014? No way… LOL
