Rapper Busta Rhymes Arrested for Throwing Protein Drink at Gym Employee

Rapper Busta Rhymes has been charged with assault after reportedly throwing a protein shake at an employee at a New York City gym on Wednesday evening (August 5).

The 43-year-old rapper, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., was arrested around 8:30 pm at a gym in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

Busta was involved in a fight with the employee, which eventually escalated and he threw a 17-ounce cardboard container of strawberry protein drink. The drink hit the employee in the head, ABC News reports.
