Bindi Irwin Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Fall 2015 Season!

Bindi Irwin has been announced as the first contestant on Dancing With the Stars‘ upcoming 21st season for Fall 2015!

The news was announced on Monday (August 24) on Good Morning America.

“This is completely different to anything I have ever done in my life,” the 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin said. “I am used to wrangling crocodiles. I actually just got back from our annual crocodile research trip. About four days ago I was in far north Queensland catching crocs and now here I am in New York City, about to be in LA.”

“It’s all about having the courage and strength and, for me, it is something completely different but I hope that I am able to inspire others in their own lives to seize opportunity and to make a difference and just jump, take that leap, even if it terrifies you,” Bindi said.

“I just hope my dance partner, whoever it is, is very patient and likes animals, because you never know what I’m going to bring to rehearsal,” she added.

she is to young to be thrown in that adult show business high pressured crazy world. her mother better be with her so we won’t be reading years later about her being sexually abused

i was thinking she’s too “good” for this show — she could have a better career path than this… the show could ruin the nice thing she has going.

Bindi had her own television show when she was 8. I think she’ll be fine

She’s not into sex-show-off- she’s retained her modesty so far, but as great as she’s been so far on the show, I agree she’
s far too classy for it.
