Calvin Harris Falls Victim to Fake Tweet Calling Out Avril Lavigne

Calvin Harris is clearing up reports that he defended girlfriend Taylor Swift against Avril Lavigne on Twitter.

The 31-year-old EDM artist was reported to have deleted a tweet to Avril that said, “She didn’t judge you she doesn’t judge anyone! She was only having fun with her fans, not trying to compare you.”

This all started when Avril commented on a Tumblr meme that compared her meet and greets to Taylor‘s.

Calvin denied ever writing the tweet, saying, “I’m not in favour of photoshopping fake tweets and then running them on your news outlet daily mail etc that’s really f-cked up.”
