White House Responds to Kanye West's 2020 Presidential Bid

During the 2015 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 30), Kanye West made a surprise announcement that he would be running for president in 2020.

Now, the White House is responding to the 38-year-old entertainer’s bid for the seat in the 2020 election.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was aboard Air Force One with President Obama on Monday (August 31) when he told the AP that he was looking “forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat.”

Kanye once told Oxford University students that the President “calls the home phone” to speak with him, which the President later denied on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
