Jimmy Fallon Wishes Stephen Colbert Good Luck on 'Late Show' Debut!

Jimmy Fallon sent out a tweet wishing Stephen Colbert good luck on his first night hosting The Late Show!

“To our friends at @colbertlateshow, congrats on your first show and hopefully dozens more. Break a finger,” the 40-year-old host wrote to Stephen, 51, who will be making his debut on the air tonight!

“Break a finger” is of course referring to Jimmy‘s horrific incident earlier in the summer where he really hurt his finger.

The Late Show and The Tonight Show will be competing in the same time slot, and both are slated for great shows! Stephen will welcome George Clooney and Jeb Bush, while Jimmy will welcome Richard Gere, Jessica Simpson, and Keith Urban.
