Batman v Superman's Zack Snyder Takes a Shot at the Marvel Universe

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder is taking a shot at the Marvel world in this brand new interview.

In response to Steven Spielberg‘s comments that “there will be a time when the superhero movie goes the way of the Western,” Zack responded by saying, “I feel like he’s right. But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they’re Batman and Superman.”

He continued, “They’re not just, like, the flavor of the week Ant-Man”not to be mean, but whatever it is. What is the next Blank-Man?”

He also responded to rumors that Batman v Superman will be focusing more on Batman than Superman.

“Only in that because it’s a different Batman than the Batman that was in the Chris Nolan movies, so we have a little bit more explaining to do”and you just had a whole Superman movie,” Zack said. “But I think only in that way, because you need to understand where Batman is with everything. And that’s more toward the beginning, but it evens back out as it goes on.”

The D.C. comics universe has used the same superheroes over & over again. They only big movies they’ve done is Superman & Batman. Marvel has done Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk. They may not have movies but they also have Black Widow & Hawkeye. They keep adding hereo’s to the franchise & they incorporate the movies with their T.V. shows like Agents of Sheild & Agent Carter. D.C. has Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl & Gotham & they keep the T.V. shows & movies completely seperate & now they are doing a Flash movie with a different Flash then the one on their TV show which makes no sense. They already have established the characters on the T.V. shows so why not bring them into the movies & make it one big world. I think Marvel is going to outlast D.C. because D.C. just keeps doing the same thing over & over again & they don’t shake it up.

It shows limited intelligence hen you can’t make an argument without attacking yor oponent.

    Besides… Ant-Man>>>>MoS

Snyder still hasn’t created a universe that can compete with Marvel. And he’s no Christopher Nolan, so I don’t have a lot of hope that he can do it.

That’s petty, I hope this movie doesn’t flop, it will be embarrassing look back at Zack’s comment, But it will be deserved…

How about you wait for your movie to come out, see if its successful before running your mouth? How did the latest Superman do, huh? DC recycles the same two ‘heroes’ time and again and that’s it. reboot after reboot after reboot. at least Marvel brings in new characters fro the comics

So that is why Ant-man is higher on rotten tomatoes then any of his movies

That’s why I like Marvel more. At least they still respect DC

Marvel is the ultimate for superheros. D.C. doesn’t get the continuity part. Once a hero, stay the hero.
