President Obama Welcomes Pope Francis To The White House!

Pope Francis keeps close to President Barack Obama on stage after arriving at The White House for his official welcoming ceremony on Wednesday afternoon (September 23) in Washington, DC.

The dignitary introduced himself as the son of the kind of “immigrant family” at the ceremony and weighed in on political issues including climate change, traditional marriage, immigration and poverty as he was greeted by the huge crowds packing the streets of Washington.

Pope Francis will head to New York City later in the week and hold Mass at Madison Square Garden.
