Sigourney Weaver Joins 'Ghostbusters' Reboot Movie

Sigourney Weaver has joined the cast of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot!

It’s not immediately clear if the 65-year-old actress will be reprising her role of Dana Barrett or playing a new role. She appeared in the first two films as the iconic character.

Director Paul Feig confirmed the exciting news on Twitter on Friday (September 25).

“Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak, so I’ll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!” he wrote.

Other original stars returning include Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson.
