'Old Yeller' Actor Kevin Corcoran Dead at 66

Super sad news – child actor Kevin Corcoran has passed away.

According to THR, the 66-year-old actor died on Tuesday (October 7) at the Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.

His wife, Laura, confirmed to the mag that he had been battling colorectal cancer for five years.

Kevin is probably best known as playing the youngest brother, Arliss Coates, in the 1957 classic movie Old Yeller.

His acting credits also include The Shaggy Dog and Swiss Family Robinson, before becoming a producer later in life on shows like The Shield and Sons of Anarchy.
