Steven Tyler Threatening to Sue Donald Trump Over 'Dream On' Use During Campaign

Donald Trump may have a lawsuit headed his way.

According to TMZ, the 69-year-old presidential hopeful is being threatened legally by Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler for the use of the band’s hit song, “Dream On,” during campaign events.

This is reportedly the second time a cease and desist letter has been sent. Apparently, Steven is a registered Republican and recently attended the debate in Cleveland as Donald‘s special guest.

Steven‘s lawyer Dina LaPolt told the site that his “position has always been consistent regarding copyright and intellectual property. Simply, one must get permission from the music creators. Steven wrote 100% of ‘Dream On,’ and this is about the un-authorized use of his property.”
