Jennifer Lawrence Drops Out of 'Rosie Project,' Attaches Herself to Darren Aronofsky Film

Jennifer Lawrence will no longer be starring in the upcoming dramedy The Rosie Project, which is set to be directed by five-time Oscar nominee Richard Linklater.

The 25-year-old actress is instead in early talks to star in director Darren Aronofsky‘s upcoming indie movie, though it’s not clear what the film is about at this point.

The Rosie Project was reportedly developed specifically as a star vehicle for Jennifer and the project was tailored to her personality, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Just the other day, it was reported that Jennifer has dropped out of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of The Glass Castle and Brie Larson will replace her in the lead role.

The Rosie Project was NOT “developped specifically ” for her and the caracter was NOT “tailored to her personality”! The Rosie Project is a bestselling, pretty well-known book. It’s embarassing when People get such big Statements wrong, especially if it’s coming from The Hollywood Reporter.
It’s too bad though, I would have liked to see her as Rosie, she would have fit her feisty personality!
