Julianne Moore Leads Hollywood in Fight for Gun Safety

Julianne Moore hits the carpet while attending the Mademoiselle Prive Exhibition held at the Saatchi Gallery on Monday night (October 12) in London, England.

Other ladies in attendance at the event included Lily Allen, GirlsJemima Kirke, Poppy Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, and Cressida Bonas.

Julianne just announced that she is going to lead Hollywood in an effort to prevent gun violence with a project called the Everytown Creative Council.

“As American citizens, we are shocked and saddened by the loss of life, and the daily increase of gun violence in our beautiful country,” Julianne said in a statement. “We do not believe that the Second Amendment and gun safety are mutually exclusive ideas, and as a creative community, we will do everything we can to support the safety of our fellow Americans, and galvanize more to join us in this movement.”

Other stars featured on the Creative Council include Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Michael J. Fox, Lee Daniels, Jeff Bridges, and more.
