Derek Jeter Doesn't Miss Playing Baseball: 'I'm Pretty Busy Doing Other Things'
Derek Jeter is dapper in a gray suit while hitting the red carpet at his 2015 Turn 2 Foundation Dinner held at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday (October 14) in New York City.
The 41-year-old former baseball player was accompanied by his sister Sharlee at the event held in support of signature programs and initiatives that have encouraged healthy lifestyles, academic achievement and leadership development for thousands of young people.
At the event, Derek expressed that he doesn’t miss playing baseball during the National League Division Series (NLDS), which determines which two teams from the National League will advance to the National League Championship Series.
“I don’t,” Derek said (via NYP). “I don’t know why. I’m pretty busy doing other things. That’s the good thing about being retired. I don’t have to think about rules.”
