Jude Law Is Very Uncomfortable Filming 'The Young Pope'
Jude Law smiles on stage during the 10th Rome Film Fest on Saturday afternoon (October 17) at Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Rome, Italy.
The 42-year-old actor was on hand to discuss his upcoming eight-hour television series The Young Pope where he portrays Lenny Belardo, the fictional Pope Pius XIII.
Jude is under strict instructions from director Antonio Monda to not give details about the show, but he is spilling about his uncomfortable wardrobe.
“At the moment, it’s that I can only sit on a very uncomfortable sort of stool because they don’t want my papal robes to get creased. So I have to sort of hitch them up and put them over the stool and perch,” he explained.
Jude added, “So once I put the robes on, I usually spend the day, 14 hours, whatever, unable to sit. So I look great, but I’m very uncomfortable.”
