Kaley Cuoco's Estranged Husband Ryan Sweeting Wants Spousal Support

Kaley Cuoco‘s estranged husband Ryan Sweeting has filed his own documents with the courts requesting spousal support.

The 28-year-old tennis pro’s request is in response to the 29-year-old Big Bang Theory actress’ papers, which were filed last month. Kaley officially filed for divorce on September 28.

According to the papers that Kaley filed, spousal support is indeed allowed based on the prenup they signed before getting married on New Years Eve in 2013, Us Weekly reports.

Women do it all the time, why not men?

  • Baseliner

do you say the same thing about women that have been doing the same thing to men for decades

  • Will

He is a loser and women get support because they have been raising children and have not worked you pathetic internet menanazis.

We asked for equal rights. It can’t just swing one way only.

Yes how dare women ask for equal rights, he’s a tennis player who didn’t stop working to look after the children they didn’t have.

  • elisa

I would say the same of any man or woman who ask for spousal support when they never stop working to support their partner, dont have children’s together, dont have any disability that prevent them to work to maintain themself, they are young and their marriage lasted less than 2 years.
Stop with the gender equality argument to justify things like this, he is just a parasite.

Most women who are married and didn’t have children still receive spousal support. I don’t want to pay a man my hard earned money, however if I am the higher or sole earner when if divorce then I expect to be held to the same laws as he would, if he was the higher/soul earner. That is what I am saying. We can’t call a man a loser and scold him for wanting what is his right to ask for and then cheer on a woman for asking for what she feel is right.

  • Sassypants

No one said men can’t get spousal support, women are constantly being called gold diggers when they marry a wealthy man in hollywood then get divorced, and by both men and women. So it’s not a gender issue. Responding to everyone who bashes a man asking for spousal support with “women do it!” does it make it right. The point is what others have said, they were married less than 2 years, he has a career and he is not disabled. Therefore he is a loser. A woman who does the same thing is a gold digger.

  • Visitor

He was not a very good tennis player/not very successful. He stopped playing professional tennis in 2013 when he married his sugar mommy (Cuoco).

    definitely do.

if women didn’t work as housekeeper, didn’t gave birth, didn’t sat at home raising kids instead of making career, or her husband didn’t prohibited her to work (there is a lot of men who thinking this way for decades) there is no reason for financial support.

It’s unfair for man and woman, it’s not complicated to say.

And law is not a moral or an ethic. Morality and ethics (in which terms Ryan is a loser) is always wider than a state law. Morality create law, not law create morality.

If old law still let you ask for spousal support YOU need to have your OWN brain and pride don’t do it.

Not that confirmation was needed – but we got it. Sweeting is a a beta ****. Have some pride man.

  • ftyjyry

He’s just doing what any good woman would do.

  • ftyjyry

Lots and lots of women have done this over the years but I’ll bet anything this is first time it’s ever upset you.

Stop with the false gender equality argument, you never cared until a woman was asked to open her purse.

  • ftyjyry

His housekeeper? Lol! Maybe she hires one.

Sitting at home playing with your kids while someone else works to make money to support you is a good gig if you can get it. The only better one is divorcing him and still getting paid.

  • ftyjyry

Honestly, they do it to try to keep women off welfare after a divorce. Better the ex pays instead of the state.

  • ftyjyry

Kids or not, career or not, spousal support still gets awarded. 96% of the recipients are women.

Reverse the roles and women would be cheering.

  • ftyjyry

Why, morally, is he a loser and why should he not ask for what the law allows? Is it because he’s a man?

  • ftyjyry

It seems more like a man is a loser but a woman deserves every penny ( no pun intended ).

  • jwayne59

she can afford it,very rich now . same thing women have done to men for many years. women gotta pay ,have to do the same as men on everything if they want to be equal . sometimes equal isn’t always so good . like being drafted into the armed services. women now able to be in combat, so soon will have to sign up for the draft ,at 18 ,to make things equal.one thing good women want ,or at least some do , now most places let women go topless ,same as men, equal . so take it off ,;let em flop all over the place . fun to watch those jiggle jugs

a person who wants get money person don’t earn because person don’t think s/he can earn money on their own anymore in life and wont miss the lucky chance to get immoral money because law allow them, they LOSE the battle of life. it makes the person a LOSER.

  • ftyjyry

You just called a whole bunch of women losers.

I still don’t get the idea of “immoral money”. They got married so what’s his is hers and what’s hers is his, right? He isn’t an actor but he obviously supported her career. Maybe he quit tennis to be with her, doesn’t that deserve some compensation?

Ok, I don’t really believe any of that, I’m just happy to see a guy exercise his legal rights for a change, and take her for all he can. Just as women have proudly done for decades. If the ridiculous and, yes, immoral concept of alimony is ever going to stop, men need to ask for it whenever possible. Why in the world can a woman divorce a man yet still be entitled to his paycheck? How can a Swedish nanny end up with over $100,000,000 by divorcing Tiger Woods? Talk about immoral!

So to Kaley’s ex husband I say stick it to her! Be a trendsetter. Take all you can get. Not for yourself, do it for your fellow man. Once more women have to start cutting monthly checks, something might change.

Nothing “beta” about taking advantage of your legal rights. I don’t know why men need to waive their rights just because they’re men.

He should proudly take her to the cleaners and not worry what the white knights think of him.

  • http://notly.ru/ Mapгapитa Бaбoвниковa

Do you expect me support all “women” because I’m a woman? I will call losers are losers despite their gender.

The rest of your suggestions are immoral by my standards. Maybe it’s a differences between our cultures, maybe between personal experiences.

Have you ever gone out of your way to call a woman a loser for taking spousal support? I don’t think you or anyone commenting on this story are gender neutral on the subject. I think that women taking money in a divorce is seen as justified but men who do it are called losers and pussies and betas. Even by other men! That’s part of why only 4% of those getting spousal support are men.

I think spousal support is bullshit. If you divorce me, you divorce my bank account too. That’s why I laugh when a woman gets bitten by alimony. It’s so rare. The law is there for anyone, why should men pay alimony but opt out if they have the opportunity to claim it? I say grab it all, give it to charity if you don’t need it. It’s the only way to start leveling the playing field.

As for morals, morals are in the eye of the beholder. They’re personal. You don’t care about mine, I don’t care about yours, and they really are meaningless in this discussion.

  • tsevca

Doesn´t he feel embarassed at all? He´s in his prime years, they married after two weeks (?) and it lasted less than 2 years and he wants her to support him like he couldn´t feed himself? I´m not some anti feminist, who have the view of gender roles from 1950s, but even nowadays men should have some backbone.

  • tsevca

It´s cultural thing. In my country the financial situation before and after divorce would have to be fundamentally different for such thing to happen. You only pay for the kids.

  • tsevca

And those women are called golddiggers, not women we consider virtuous.
