Love them. Will definitely see this movie. Critics focus so much on Angie and not the movie.i

Oh hey I’m SECOND to post!!!! Woo hoo!!! I’ll be first yet on a new thread!!! And they both look good. I see Versace tweeted about the dress last night. Angie looks so demure in white.

There will be people who are always ready to criticize AJP no matter what she does, or hasn’t done or will do in the future. They love to do that on her, any chance they get. And if I depended my choice of movie viewing based on their supposedly objective reviews or opinions, I would not have enjoyed her past movies and I would have missed the opportunities to appreciate her messages. No, I’ve noticed that about so-called many critics a long time ago already…. they always have an agenda. They can fool some people BUT NOT all people all the time. Why can’t we just watch a certain movie based on INDIVIDUAL’s taste or judgement.

Bear in mind that AJP said from the very beginning that BTS is not for everyone. It’s not intended for all types of audiences. It’s experimental…a creation based on her feelings & thoughts about grief, loss & her mother. It’s her expression of her emotions. Just like painting or an abstract art, not all people can get or understand or see the artist’s true interpretation & intent, but it’s up to the one looking at it.

I would like to repost the following opinion I already wrote in a related thread. I don’t mind if BTS doesn’t make big money (BUT i know it will)…. as long as AJBP fans or people around the world who want to watch it, gets the chance to see it.

I don’t mind if people who love to hate AJBP for any reason don’t want to watch BTS. AJBP’s existence is not dependent on them anyway.

Whatever they do now is what they want to do, regardless of the critics’ opinion or box-office results.

Remember, they are in the stage now wherein they can take risks and express their ideas through their production or creation, regardless of public’s opinion and I like that. They live without thinking if they please people or not. I like that attitude. It’s their life anyway!!! NOT the public, NOT ours, not the fans, NOT the audience, NOT the reviewers, NOT the press, NOT the critics and of course NOT the haters. If they fail in their project, that’s their call, their responsibility. I would like to think they take risks because they can accept whatever results or outcome. Their lives continue. They have already experienced so many ups & downs, frustrations & relief or vindication BUT the important thing is they know how to rise up. Now if they fail again, they try & try again until they succeed. That’s life.

She looks tired and over it. I don’t blame her. Now she can focus on her Cambodia project – another one that the critics will not understand lol
but she will love and get to make with her kids…Omg the critics will be so mad at that because her kids will be involved. Haha keep doing your thing, Angelina 👍🏽

Love the dresses she’s been wearing for BTS. Totally my style. I’d wear them if I’m tall like Angie. These are a perfect pair of class and hotness.

When you are an Innovator as Angelia is you are going to be criticized. Most true Innovators in their early stages of innovation have been criticized.

    Hello Folks.

Well, I was over at Metacritic, and the score currrently sits at 48 with 3 mixed and 1 positive.

I am surprised that only four reviews have been posted so far, given the number of tweets we saw last night.

But that one critic was whining about how there is no catharsis at the end of the film …

No, shiite, dumbass, there is usually no “catharsis” in real life either.

And this is an adult male?

It will be interesting to see how the Europeans react to this piece.

They both could be wearing potato sacks and still knock it out of the park.

They look so beautiful and classy.

Last time she exhausted herself like this, she caught the chicken pox and daddy and kids walked the red carpet for her. This family has each other’s backs.

She is lucky to have Brad hold her up when she needs it but something tells me she rarely needs it. 😁 She’ll keep pushing herself because I think the movie starts filming this month. We might not see much of her – I think I’ll take a mini break until we get some news on her in Cambodia.
I believe the negative bothers fans more than it bothers her lol

  • Erianthe

Exhausted yes, but happy. Her life is so fulfilling with her family, projects, and humanitarian work. Not like me being exhausted coming home from a job I hate. Angie’s in a good place. She’s living her life out loud and making no apologies. She gets my respect and admiration any day.

  • Angela Johnson

    Love these pics.

And she still looked gorg even with chicken pox!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! She probably looks like a Greek goddess when she gets the flu.

It recieved a 75 from one of the female critics who understood what Angelina was doing with the film.

The 48 is the aggregate score. It will sit next to name of the film.

  • WandaBread

That’s funny. That’s one of the things Angelina sort of explained in one of the behind the scenes videos and the critic still didn’t get that it was deliberate. 👀

  • bap

    Thanks!

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

She shouldn’t have to explain that.

    THAT. IS. LIFE.

That’s why I was floored when I saw that.

  • WandaBread

Oh, when will this be? What a nice award for Angelina.

  • neer

AJP I think is now in the highest level of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs which is SELF-ACTUALIZATION. This means she is achieving her full potential by including creative means with freedom & responsibility. She is living with freedom as well regardless of people’s opinion.

Very, very few people can be on that level. Once a person is on that stage, he is satisfied/ happy with his life.

  • Felinelilly

LOL I know! It’s why I said she and Brad could be wearing anything and still rock it, because she looks beautiful no matter what, even sick with the chicken pox.

  • bap

    Wow good observation and insight.
