Donald Trump Gives 'Saturday Night Live' Best Ratings in Years

Donald Trump helped Saturday Night Live triumph in the ratings!

The 69-year-old Presidential hopeful’s episode brought in the show’s biggest overnight rating since 2012.

According to EW, the SNL episode held a 6.6 household rating on Saturday night (November 7).

The previous high was held by an episode hosted by NBA legend Charles Barkley with musical guest Kelly Clarkson that aired on January 7, 2012.

This was Trump‘s second time hosting after his 2004 stint during the height of NBC’s The Apprentice.

    oh dear..people need to realize he’s a serious contender in the presidential race. For everyone who says he’s a joke and he won’t possibly be president..yall need to realize there are people who secretly support him. Otherwise this show would have had it’s lowest ratings.

    I agree. I think people are just automatically writing him off without realizing he has a larger following then they think. I am surprised he is so in the lead still but 2016 will be interesting to say the least.

    The ratings might’ve been good but he was a waste and only on screen for a total of 12 minutes.
    What a joke he is. I’ll be shocked if he gets the nomination.
