Jean Jullien's Eiffel Tower Sketch Becomes Paris' Peace Symbol
An image that has gone viral on social media after the Paris terror attacks on Friday (November 13) is a sketch of the Eiffel Tower within a peace symbol, created by artist Jean Jullien.
The artist posted the image on his Twitter account shortly after news spread of the attacks and the post has since gotten nearly 50,000 retweets and over 30,000 likes.
“This is an image for everyone, this is a message of peace,” Jean told TMZ. He added that he needed a way to express himself after he heard about the attacks, so he decided to “draw the symbol of peace and share it as a sign of solidarity.”
