'Friday Night Lights' Musical in the Works with a Familiar Face Playing Coach Taylor!

A Friday Night Lights musical, titled the Unauthorized Friday Night Lights Musical, will take the stage in Los Angeles next year with a very familiar face in the lead role of Coach Taylor!

Scott Porter, who played the role of paralyzed quarterback Jason Street in the original NBC series, will take on Coach Taylor, the role originated by Kyle Chandler.

Scott celebrated via a Dubsmash with Kyle‘s voice saying the big FNL catchphrase, “Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.” Watch below!
