Rachel Platten Sings 'Fight Song' with Young Cancer Survivor

Rachel Platten shares a special moment with 16-year-old cancer survivor Caly Bevier during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which aired on Thursday (December 3).

Caly, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 15, went viral online after she created a video of herself singing Rachel‘s song “Fight Song” during her treatment.

Rachel surprised Caly during the appearance and they sang a duet of the hit song.

It was also just announced that Rachel‘s upcoming album Wildfire will be released on January 1.

“After a decade of trying to find my path in music I started to believe it would never happen for me,” Rachel said in a statement. “The thing that kept me going was the one-on-one connections with listeners – no matter how many or how few. These connections sparked my fire that fueled me to write this album. Wildfire is for everyone who ever believed in me.”
