Jeff Goldbum and Liam Hemsworth don space suits in this action-packed first trailer for the highly-anticipated film Independence Day: Resurgence!

The movie is of course the sequel to Roland Emmerich‘s 1996 blockbuster. This picks up decades after the original alien attack, when Earth is threatened with a new extra-terrestrial threat.

Bill Pullman and Vivica A. Fox return to the cast, which also includes Maika Monroe and Joey King.
