'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Hollywood Premiere - See All the Major Preparations!
There are just a few hours left until the premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Hollywood has been preparing for days for an event that is being dubbed the “mini-Oscars.”
An entire stretch of Hollywood Boulevard has been shut down for the last few days and anyone trying to entire the block today must go through security screening.
There are three theaters on that block – the Dolby Theatre, the TCL Chinese Theatre, and the El Capitan Theatre – and it is still not known which ones will be filled. If all theatres are used, there could be more than 5,000 people seeing the highly anticipated movie tonight.
A tent was popped up in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard for the red carpet due to the rainy and windy weather in Los Angeles this weekend.
Make sure to check back in a few hours for all the red carpet photos!
