L.A. Movie Theater Evacuated During 'Star Wars' Screening
Screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Los Angeles’ The Grove movie theater, one of the most major theaters in the area, were interrupted after a fire alarm was triggered on Thursday night (December 17).
The movie is playing at the venue on at least 10 screens simultaneously this evening and the entire theater was evacuated.
Two fire trucks were called to the scene and theater staff initially told moviegoers to go home, according to TMZ. It appeared that someone accidentally pulled the fire alarm. After staff was given the all clear by law enforcement, fans were let back in for the movie and the screenings resumed.
See a tweet below for a photo from the scene.
