Jennifer Lawrence Met with Quentin Tarantino for 'Hateful Eight'

The Hateful Eight is set to hit theaters this weekend and it could have been a very different movie as Jennifer Lawrence was originally in talks to star in the film!

The movie’s writer/director Quentin Tarantino says that he had a meeting with the 25-year-old Oscar-winning actress to talk about the role of Daisy, which ultimately went to Jennifer Jason Leigh.

“I can see her doing a good job with this role, so we went to talk about it and everything,” Quentin told Entertainment Weekly. “She was just doing me a courtesy to see me, I think. She was doing Joy. She had to do all this publicity on the Hunger Games movies. There was just no f”ing way in the world that she was available.”

“Having said that, I’m glad I didn’t cast somebody that young. I think I absolutely positively made the right choice, as far as the ages of the characters,” he added.

Both Jennifers are getting Oscar buzz for their work in Joy and The Hateful Eight!

Mel Gibson was going to do MM4 years ago, they had the props ready and everything. He turned around and did “The Passion”, and to understand Mel’s passion at the time is not what he was thinking in the film.
Is the movie “Fat Max” or R rated? sounds more like “overkill as usual” to me than Ma rating and “business as usual” or “eight is enough”. I guess you will always get some who enjoy the movie, some undecided and some who don’t.
