Cate Blanchett Takes Home Desert Palm Achievement Award at Palm Springs Gala

Cate Blanchett and her Carol co-star Rooney Mara stun on the red carpet at the 2016 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday (January 2) in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress received the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award, presented by her Hanna co-star Saoirse Ronan.

Two Spotlight Awards were presented at the event, one to Bryan Cranston, presented by his Trumbo cast mate Helen Mirren. The other was presented to Rooney by Ben Mendelsohn, her Una co-star.

FYI: Rooney is wearing Lanvin. Cate is wearing a Marc Jacobs dress, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, and Tiffany jewelry.
