Matt Damon Takes Home the Chairman's Award at Palm Springs Film Festival Gala

Matt Damon grins as he points at the crowd while walking the red carpet at the 2016 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Saturday night (January 2) in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 45-year-old actor was joined at the event by Michael Keaton and the cast of The Big Short including Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Finn Wittrock and Jeremy Strong.

During the gala, Matt was awarded with the Chairman’s Award while the cast of The Big Short won the Ensemble Performance Award.
