Hilary Duff's Dog Beau Has Died - Read Her Emotional Note

Hilary Duff wears an all-white outfit while doing press for her show Younger on Tuesday morning (January 12) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actress was supposed to appear at the TV Land show’s red carpet premiere that night, but she skipped the event after she received the news that her dog Frenchie Beau has died.

“It’s really true that we never know what the day will bring us. I am shattered in a million pieces today because my baby Frenchie Beau has gone to doggy heaven this afternoon,” Hilary started her note on Instagram.

“I’m sure I will post way too many pictures of him this week but as of now I can’t ever bear to look at a photo of his little face that melted me every time. I can’t fathom never holding his heaving little head in my hands with his two big eyes looking at me again,” Hilary added. “Remember every day to be grateful for what we have that makes our hearts happy and full. My naughty boy I will miss you so. Heart. Broken.”
