Amal Clooney Gives First American Television Interview (Video)

Amal Clooney was all business during her first-ever American television interview with NBC News.

The 37-year-old attorney sat down with Cynthia McFadden to discuss her current case in the Maldives.

Her husband George didn’t come up in the conversation, but Amal did reference celebrities who use their fame for good.

“I think it’s wonderful that celebrities would choose to spend their time or energy or the spotlight that they have to raise awareness about these causes,” Amal said. “I don’t really see myself in the same way because I’m still doing the same job that I used to before. If there’s more attention paid for whatever reason to that, then I think that’s good.”

She added, “I think there is a certain amount of responsibility that comes with that. And I think I’m exercising it in an appropriate manner by continuing to do this kind of work.”

What a fuckwit. She needs to keep her mouth shut or get a better writer.

As usual, I see nothing wrong with Amal. I think she’s smart and beautiful.
