'Grizzly Adams' Star Dan Haggerty Dead at 74
More sad news this week – 70s television star Dan Haggerty died on Friday morning (January 15) at his home in San Fernando Valley, Calif.
According to TMZ, the longtime actor was 74 and was battling cancer for the last few months, which was reportedly discovered during a back surgery.
He was surrounded by family and friends during his passing.
Dan was probably best known for his starring role in 1977′s The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. His resume also included CHiPs, Charlie’s Angels, and The Love Boat.
