Amy Schumer to Receive Critics' Choice MVP Award Tonight

Amy Schumer will be honored at tonight’s 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards.

The 34-year-old actress and comedian is set to receive the Critics’ Choice MVP Award for her work over the past year in film, television, and comedy.

“The BFCA and BTJA are thrilled to be honoring someone as wildly talented and multifaceted as Amy Schumer with our second MVP Award,” BFCA/BTJA’s President Joey Berlin said. With her work in both film and television Amy proves that she can make us laugh until it hurts whatever the platform.”

Be sure to tune into the 2016 Critics Choice Awards tonight, January 17 @ 8PM ET on A&E.

    Well, I commend her. Trainwreck was funny and one of her episodes, 12 Angry Men one was great.

    But that award should’ve gone to Domhnall Gleeson appearing in: The Revenant, Brooklyn, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Ex Machina ; all Academy Award nominated films.
