Kanye West Skips a Song Release, Kim Kardashian Explains Why

Kanye West arrives at LAX airport on Saturday night (January 16) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old rapper had promised fans new music releases every week on “G.O.O.D. Fridays,” but missed a week when he had to fly to Italy for a last minute Yeezy fitting.

Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to reassure fans that new music was on the way, including Kanye’s first ever collaboration track with Kendrick Lamar.

“I soooo didn’t mean to lie to you guys about GOOD FRIDAYS coming back,” she wrote. “Kanye flew to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting. He flew Noah out with him so he could finish ‘No More Parties In La’ & wrote 90 bars on the plane there!!!”

Kim said Kanye was off to the studio to finish the track as soon as he landed.
